As a part of the Stark Creative Writing Series, University of Dallas hosts guest poet for a poetry reading this Monday night at 7pm in Lynch Auditorium, lectures in open junior poet (Lyric Study I) classes, and public lecture on Poetry and Pilgrimage Tuesday, October 26-also in Lynch Auditorium at 7pm.

Poetry and Pilgrimage

Peter Campion is the author of two poetry collections, Other People (2005) and The Lions (2009), both from the University of Chicago Press. The recipient of a Stegner Fellowship and Jones Lectureship at Stanford University, a Pushcart Prize, a Theodore Morrison Fellowship at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and the Joseph Brodsky Rome Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, he is an Assistant Professor of English at Auburn University and editor of the journal Literary Imagination, published by Oxford University Press.

Both events, made possible by the Stark Fund for Creative Writing at the University of Dallas, are free and open to the public.
